On our testing over the past 5 years of the trapeze style stone guard we
have travelled throughout Australia, around 50,000 kms with virtually no stone damage to our car or Jayco Eagle and now our
Jayco Expanda caravan. This includes the Gibb River Road, Cape Leveque, Tanami Desert, Donohue Highway/Plenty, Buchanan Highway,
Gawler Ranges, Murray Sunset National Park just to name a few. Also a 15,000 km trip through Tibooburra up to Lawn Hill-Kingfisher
Kamp and along the Savannah Way coming home along the Darling River Run with 5,000km of great out back roads and no stone
damage. The biggest benefit we have found that it not only protects the vehicle but the complete A frame, gas bottles, gas and brake cables, coupling and the front of the van and also stops the tar stains on the van from the bitumen, in the wet it keeps the front of the van clean from the dirty bitumen road spay thrown up from the tow vehicle. You don't need to go off road to get the benefits from the stone guard, how many times do you come across road works with wet tar and stones then they divert you to a dirt road bypass, also your plans may change on your trip as my Dad found out this year on his North Queensland 3 month trip, he had no plans to do any dirt roads with his on road Jayco Sterling but was told on his travels a must see was Lawn Hill National park he travelled the 180km round trip with no stone chips so he said he was glad he had one fitted before he left. The mesh is not shade cloth, but a reinforced Truck Mesh that is manufactured by our in house professional canvas makers and each order is custom made to fit individual measurements to insure maximum protection. All metal work is Laser Cut and plated.

The STONE STOMPERTM kit is easily installed
taking less than an hour for the initial fitting and then connecting /disconnecting is less than 10
seconds. The only tools required is a shifter to remove tow ball/hitch and a drill to screw in two brackets. The kit
comes complete with full set of instructions and all the fixings needed. The complete kit is $550 including GST plus door to door delivery normally about $50. For our information pack on how to take the two measurements please
